Machining
Machining (chip breaking) is a collective name for operations like drilling, turning, planing, filing and milling.
When machining, cutting tools are used that cut away material from a work piece. The cutting tool is harder than the work piece which means it can be reused. However, there is great stress on the tool which means it has a limited service life.
At Arkivator Industry we have expertise in turning, milling (including high-speed processing), broaching, grinding and processing of sheet metal through nibbling and bending.
